It is possible to log in and play Flight Rising again. Our apologies for the downtime. We will be monitoring the performance of the website for the remainder of the evening in case additional maintenance is necessary. However, today was a good day for the site overall. We uncovered a problem with our item codes that may have been a significant cause of lag on update days. They are now much gentler to our website. :)

To reiterate on the status update we provided earlier, you may hit a “Heavy Load” page every hour or so. This is normal behavior while services are restarting. Please help us spread the word if there are questions. Thanks!
This update is going to be a bit more frank than previous ones. It appears that, yet again, Flight Rising is being tested by becoming the target of more malicious activity and exploitation. Over the past week we have been receiving heavy amounts of traffic from singular individuals, likely running bots to automate normal gameplay in excess of what is feasible by normal browsing. This is destroying the experience for many of you, resulting in the item loss and load time issues that have been most prevalent in the last few days.
We have made the decision to, in addition to monitoring this heavily, leave the site open with the following safeguard in place:
We will be performing backend restarts on services hourly, which will cause momentary interruptions. We are opting for this option to better gain clarity on where and how these methods are being used to bog the site down, while at the same time allowing you to play as much as possible and protect against the losses that have been occurring. There is a chance that, given the cirumstances, we may need to bring the site down again, but we are employing every measure we can to prevent that. If that ends up being the case, please accept our apologies.
We’re disappointed that there are individuals still out there that would seek to continue to derail our attempts to improve the site and not notify us directly, but are still heavily committed to not only getting through this, but coming out stronger for it.
