Coliseum Congestion

Hello, all!

Thank you for your reports throughout today. We are aware of the slowdown and intermittent connectivity issues that are affecting the Coliseum today. We are doing our best to monitor and address issues that arise, but the influx of Coliseum usage will likely cause some slowdown today.

Thanks for your understanding.

Data Collection: Logging in from the Front Page

Hello again! We’re on a bug hunt with some fairly old issues and we’re trying to smash them with data and science. In addition to our previous post, we are also requesting information from players who are experiencing the following:

Logging in from the front page (http://flightrising.com) is not functioning, is taking a very long time, or taking multiple attempts.

If you are currently experiencing this issue, we would love to hear from you. Please join us in this thread and fill out the questionnaire listed in the top post in your reply:

http://flightrising.com/main.php?board=bug&id=1142847&p=mb

Sorry for all the spam tonight - we’re trying to really track these ones down and fix ‘em up.

Data Collection: Buttons Losing Functionality

Hey everyone -

We are trying to diagnose an issue that happens sporadically for some users and would like your help in collecting information.

The heart of the issue is that some site buttons become completely unresponsive to input, seemingly randomly. Our hope is to find out why this is happening and that it isn’t random, but something we can narrow down with enough data and provide a fix for.

The buttons in question we’re looking to get information about are:

  • Feed Dragons
  • Arrange Dragons
  • Convert Food
  • Sell (From Hoard)
  • EquipSkins
  • Equip Apparel
  • Breed
  • Change Familiars
  • Auction Dragon
  • Exalt Dragon
  • Post New Forum Thread

If this has ever happened to you or is currently happening to you, and you can remember anything significant about when they stopped functioning for you, and what you may have been doing at the time, please contribute to this thread:

http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=mb&board=bug&id=1142731

Thank you so much!

Coliseum Skins: Sandswept DeltaThe monsters of Sandswept Delta are now very rarely dropping delta-themed skins. Unlike our holiday skins -which have remain in the coliseum for only a week- these drops are going to remain in the coliseum for the long-haul. Good luck collecting them! Thanks to @Journey @Tiberiend @gimli @kaenith @hyruine @yiq@lammergeir
Primary Gene Vote:Hello everyone! We have a couple of new genes that are nearing a finish. We wanted to get some community feedback on what gets released next. Bar andDaub were primary/secondary treasure genes that were previewed several months ago, and as a result have built up some anticipation; however, we have released several treasure genes in a row. Here is a preview of what Bar will look like:

We’ve also had several requests for a new gem gene since there has not been a new one since released. We have an unannounced gem-purchased primary that we could make our next release. Coliseum Skins: Sandswept Delta
The monsters of Sandswept Delta are now very rarely dropping delta-themed skins. Unlike our holiday skins -which have remain in the coliseum for only a week- these drops are going to remain in the coliseum for the long-haul. Good luck collecting them! Thanks to @Journey @Tiberiend @gimli @kaenith @hyruine @yiq@lammergeir
